About this policy
Fitness – LevelUp is developed by Michael at SpendTime-Games. This policy explains the information the app stores, optional Apple services, and support messages you choose to send. It applies to Fitness – LevelUp, also called LevelUp Fitness in the app.
The app does not send your fitness records to a server operated by SpendTime-Games. It does not include advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. Your information is used to provide fitness tracking, game progress, reminders, customization, and optional private synchronization.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your selected age range, mobility preferences, exercise choices, goals, targets, repetitions, distance, Health-derived values, dated activity history, reminder preferences, pause state, and other settings. Adults can optionally enter height and weight; those fields are not requested for ages 13–17.
Fitness profiles and detailed activity records are kept in the app’s local storage and are excluded from its CloudKit game-progress sync. Device backups you separately enable may include app data according to your Apple device and backup settings. “On your device” does not mean that all system backups are disabled.
Optional Apple Health access
If you grant permission, the app reads walking and running distance, cycling distance, or wheelchair distance from Apple Health to update relevant movement goals. You can use manual entry without granting Health access.
The app does not write to Apple Health, store workout routes, or send raw Health samples or distance values to its CloudKit database or to the developer. Completing a quest can create a derived game reward, which may be included in optional game-progress sync.
Health information is not used for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage. Manage or revoke Health access through Apple Health or your device’s privacy settings. Deleting LevelUp data does not delete the original records in Apple Health.
Sign in with Apple and private iCloud
You can use the app locally without signing in. If you choose Sign in with Apple, the app stores your Apple user identifier in secure device storage and may store an email address Apple provides, including a private relay address. This supports sign-in and optional game-progress synchronization; it is not sent to a developer-operated account service.
When enabled, synchronization uses the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. It includes opaque quest award identifiers, level and stat events, Training Rank events, Essence transactions, cosmetic unlocks, alias, appearance choices, and aggregate streak state with a synchronization timestamp. An opaque identifier represents a quest occurrence without including the underlying activity date in the award record.
This is game-progress sync, not a backup of your detailed fitness history. Age range, height, weight, exercise targets, repetitions, distance, Health-derived values, and dated activity history are not part of that cloud payload. Apple operates its services under its own privacy policy and terms.
Security and developer access
The app uses Apple’s device data protection and secure storage. An optional biometric lock uses Apple’s authentication services; the app does not receive or store your fingerprint or facial biometric template. Protect your device with a passcode and keep your software current.
iCloud protections depend on your Apple Account settings and Apple’s supported data types. This policy does not promise that every field is end-to-end encrypted or inaccessible to Apple.
SpendTime-Games does not have an administrative view of your private iCloud game database or remote access to the fitness records on your device. Information you voluntarily email to support is handled separately.
Reminders and widgets
With notification permission, the app schedules local daily reminders. You can control notification permissions and preview visibility in device Settings.
Widgets use a local snapshot shared with the app’s widget extension and can display quest progress, player status, and streak information outside the app. Choose what you want visible on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. These snapshots are not sent to the developer.
Age ranges and younger users
The app is intended for people aged 13 and older and does not allow users identified as under 13 to continue onboarding. It uses Apple’s age-range service where available, with a manual age-range choice as a fallback; it does not require an exact birth date.
For ages 13–17, the app uses an age-appropriate experience and does not request height or weight. The selected age range stays in local app state and is not included in game-progress sync.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
App information remains until you remove it using the app’s controls. Apple controls retention and recovery for its services and any device backups you enable.
In Settings → Data, “Remove Data From This Device” removes local fitness history, Health-derived values, preferences, and the local game cache. It does not delete game progress already stored in iCloud.
To delete cloud game progress, remain signed in and choose Settings → Data → “Delete Account and Cloud Data.” The app attempts cloud deletion first and clears local data only after that succeeds. If cloud deletion fails, reconnect and retry. When used without an Apple sign-in, this action removes local data only; sign back into the original account to remove its cloud progress.
Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete existing cloud game progress. You can revoke Sign in with Apple through your Apple Account and change notification or Health permissions in device settings. The developer cannot retrieve or erase your private fitness records remotely; use the app’s deletion controls.
Support communications
If you email support@spendtime-games.com, the developer and email provider receive your email address, message, and any attachments you send. This information is used to respond to your request and retained only as needed to resolve it and meet applicable obligations.
Please do not send health records, account passwords, or other sensitive information. Your app version, device model, and a description of the problem are usually enough. You can use the same address for privacy, access, correction, or deletion questions about information you have sent to support.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated when the app’s data practices change, with the latest date shown on this page.
