Privacy policy for Medical Moments

Last updated: September 14, 2026

About this policy

Developed by Michael at SpendTime-Games. This policy describes how the app handles information you enter, optional Apple services, household sharing, and support communications. It applies to Medical Moments; other apps have their own policies.

Information you provide

Medical Moments is a personal tracker for symptoms and when medicine was given to a person. It stores the entries you choose to add, along with related profiles, notes, and reminders, to display your tracking history. This may include:

  • People’s names, ages, optional weights, and selected profile photos.
  • Symptoms and their status, medicine names and amounts, notes, dates, and times.
  • Reminders, custom symptom and medicine lists, quick-entry settings, and app preferences.
  • Identifiers and timestamps used to associate entries, follow-ups, and changes. For signed-in or shared records, the app may also store the contributor’s Apple account identifier and display name.

Where your information is stored

You can use Medical Moments in Local Only mode without signing in. In this mode, your symptom and medicine tracking information stays in the app’s storage on your device; the app does not send it to iCloud or enable household sharing. Any device backups you enable are governed by your device settings and backup provider.

If you enable cloud features, the app uses Apple’s CloudKit services to store your personal backup in the private iCloud database associated with your Apple Account. Your tracking information is stored on your device and, when enabled, in iCloud—not on servers operated by SpendTime-Games. Optional household sharing uses the household owner’s iCloud storage and gives invited participants access through Apple’s sharing system. Synced information can include the profiles, symptom and medicine entries, notes, reminders, and settings listed above.

Apple may provide an account identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address or a private relay address. The app uses this information to maintain your sign-in and identify contributors. Apple services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy and applicable terms.

Read Apple’s privacy policy.

Encryption and developer access

Apple encrypts third-party app data in iCloud in transit and on its servers. On-device information is protected by the security features of your Apple device; use a device passcode and keep your software up to date. The optional app lock adds a biometric access check on supported devices.

SpendTime-Games does not have an administrative view of your private iCloud database or remote access to the tracking entries stored on your device. The app does not send a copy of those entries to the developer. If you choose to email information to support or share it with a household participant, the recipient can access what you share.

Encryption helps protect against unauthorized access; it does not prevent access by someone you authorize or someone who can unlock your device or access your Apple Account. End-to-end encryption depends on Apple’s supported data types, iCloud settings, and sharing arrangements. This policy does not claim that every app field is end-to-end encrypted or inaccessible to Apple.

Shared households

Creating or joining a shared household makes household records available to the people participating in that household. Depending on their permissions, participants may view or change shared records, including information about the people in those records. Only share information you are authorized to share.

You can manage or leave a household from Shared Household in Settings. Leaving, removing a participant, or deleting a record cannot erase screenshots or other copies someone already made. Read the app’s confirmation messages when choosing whether to retain a copy or remove shared data.

Photos, notifications, widgets, and device security

Profile photos are selected by you and stored as part of the associated profile. Medical Moments uses the images you choose; it does not upload your entire photo library.

If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders that can show entry information on your device. Widgets and system features you enable can also show record information outside the app. Use your device’s notification and widget settings to control what is visible.

Optional biometric app locking uses Apple’s authentication services. Medical Moments does not receive or store your fingerprint or facial biometric template. You can change supported permissions in your device’s Settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

Optional Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Medical Moments uses StoreKit purchase and entitlement information to determine access to Premium features. The app does not receive your payment card details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Deleting app data does not cancel a subscription.

How information is used

Information handled by the app is used to provide tracking, reminders, customization, backup, sharing, and purchase access. The current app does not include advertising networks or third-party analytics SDKs, and its app data flows do not sell records or send them to advertising services.

If you email support, your email address, message, and any attachments are received by the developer and the email service used to handle the request. Include only information needed to explain the issue; please avoid sending personal tracking information or other sensitive details. Support correspondence is used to respond to your request and is retained only as needed to resolve it and meet applicable obligations.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Records remain in the app’s storage until you remove them or use the app’s deletion controls. When synchronization is enabled, deletion markers and other synchronization information may be retained to prevent previously deleted records from reappearing. Apple controls the operation and retention of its own services and backups.

You can edit or delete individual Moments and manage profiles in the app. For broader deletion, open Settings → Security → Permanently Delete All Data. For a signed-in account, the app attempts cloud deletion before clearing stored app data and account settings. Shared-household consequences depend on whether you own or have joined the household; review the confirmation shown in the app.

Signing out or uninstalling the app is not a substitute for deleting cloud-backed information. You can disable notifications and other permissions in device Settings, manage household access in the app, and revoke Sign in with Apple through your Apple account.

For privacy requests, including questions about access, correction, or deletion, contact support@spendtime-games.com. The developer cannot retrieve your private tracking entries from your device or personal iCloud database on your behalf; use the in-app controls to manage them. Information you voluntarily email to support is handled separately as described above.

Information about family members

The app allows a person managing family care to enter information about other people, including children. Enter and share such information only when you have the authority and any required permission to do so. The app does not require children to create accounts to be included in an adult’s records.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app or its data practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with an updated date.
